In the 1990s: The container for garbage in public places was basically nutshell bins. At that time, the concept of garbage bags was not yet popular.
1996-1998: Many high-end communities and municipal units began to use garbage bags.
2009-2015: 60% of the property community started to use garbage bags.
2015-present: Garbage bags are popularized and begin to be sorted gradually (differentiated by color)
The current status of garbage bags in China
At present, domestic garbage bags are mainly composed of the following four raw materials.
Garbage bag raw materials
1. Recycled materials: (also known as fully recycled materials), with poor quality and relatively cheap prices;
2. Secondary raw material: (new material + recycled material), the quality is between the recycled material and the secondary raw material, and the product quality is related to the ratio of the new material;
3. Brand new materials: good quality, not easy to break, and relatively high price;
4. Environmental protection materials: Good quality and high cost (generally composed of new materials + degradable environmentally friendly biological materials). The existing domestic technology has not yet fully achieved, but this is the future development direction.
